Documentation & Permits

Your funeral director will guide you through each step and ensure everything is accurate and to your wishes.

What we'll review & sign together:
  • The cremation or burial application

  • Reviewing and signing the Notification of Death

  • Notify credit bureaus

Other Documents for Authorization

Depending on the services selected, additional authorizations may be required

Deceased Identification

Before cremation can take place, Saskatchewan regulations require that the Authorized Decision Maker, or someone they designate—positively identifies the deceased. Your funeral director will explain this process and help you choose the method that feels most comfortable. Once the identification has been completed, your funeral director will review the cremation application and have you sign for final authorization.
