Lisa Allison (Wan-Ling Hsu)

It is with great sadness and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Lisa Allison (Wan-Ling Hsu) at the age of 43 after a short but courageous battle with brain cancer.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband Rob, and their son Jayden (14).

Left to mourn are her mother-in-law, Ann Hart, sister-in-law Holly Allison-Kay (Gerard), nieces, Katherine Flude (Donovan), Alexandria Jackson (Davin) and Stephanie McNally (Ryan), Great nephew Stuart. Also brother-in-law Ryan Allison and daughter Ella.

Lisa is also survived by her family in Taiwan-her parents Chun-Chung Hsu and Chin-Tsu Lin, brother Eason, sisters, Tina and Sandy.

Lisa was proud of her Taiwanese roots and was also very proud of becoming a Canadian citizen in 2022.

Lisa was a cherished member of the staff of Grant Road School where she enjoyed her years working with Pre-K.

A celebration of life will be held on May 10th at 2pm at Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCallum Avenue.

In honour of Lisa’s vibrant spirit, the family kindly invites all guests to wear something that reflects what she loved most—Winnipeg Jets apparel, Mickey Mouse gear, or anything green.
