Kory Douglas Hunter

On June 20, 2025, Kory Douglas Hunter passed away into the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ thirteen months after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Kory trusted wholeheartedly in the certain hope of the resurrection. He will be remembered as a man of integrity, compassion, and kindness.

Kory was born in Regina to parents Doug and Charlene Hunter. He was the oldest of three children; Darren and Amy were welcomed in coming years. Left to grieve are his wife of 20 years, Natalie, and children Abigail, Joel, Susanna, and Silas. He is survived by his dad Doug, brother Darren (Margherita), sister Amy (Lann), numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. Kory was well-loved by many friends and neighbours who will also miss him dearly. Kory is joyfully reunited in heaven with his mom, Charlene.

A funeral service will be held at Hillsdale Baptist Church, 101 Munroe Place, on Thursday, June 26 at 2:00pm. Private interment at Riverside Memorial Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Kory can be given to Hillsdale Baptist Church Legacy Fund.
