Katie Helen Molesky

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Katie (Kay) Molesky, our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Mom left us peacefully on August 9th, at the age of 95.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Dale (Louise), grandchildren Chanda (Michael), their children Macy and Molly McCann, and Chad (Carla), their children Gemma, Lucas and Capri Molesky.

Kay was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1994 as well as her sisters Mary, Sophie, Doris, and brothers John and Mike.

Kay was born in Leross, Sask. After completing her education, she attended Marvel Hair Dressing School in Saskatoon. Mom and Dad were married in 1949. They purchased the Hotel in Leross and later moved to Kelliher. In 1971, they moved to Regina where she continued her hair dressing practice into her 80’s.

In her early years she enjoyed curling, golf and gardening. She also enjoyed travelling with her husband Joe and took various trips around Canada and the US.

Kay was a member of St. Athanasius Church, the Seniors Club and the U.C.W.L. In her later years she moved to a condo where she made many new friends and also served on the condo board for a number of years. Mom enjoyed her retirement greatly.

At Mom’s request, a private family service will be held at a later date.

We will miss you dearly and will forever hold you close in our hearts!
