It is with profound sadness that we are announcing the passing of a very special woman Elsie Marie Lampard (nee Parisien), sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, and friend to so many.

Elsie came from a very large family and was born in Lebret Saskatchewan, where she was raised as a proud Metis woman.

She is pre-deceased by her parents Stephen Napoleon (Nap) and Marie Virgine (Jeanne) Parisien (nee Pelletier), as well as numerous siblings, and her special friend Wally.

Elsie is survived by her son Jason (Sara), and her daughter Trina, her grandchildren Dustyn (Micheal), Dylan, Alison (Trevor), her great grandchildren Aria and Asher, as well as her sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elsie was a beacon of light, a ray of sunshine. She won the hearts of everyone that met her. She was always helping others, be it at her work with the friendship centre, to Home Care, or Gabriel Housing she always made sure that everyone was OK.

She loved unconditionally, and her faith was strong. She was brave, loved adventures and was never afraid to try new things.

She believed in perseverance.

Elsie was stylish, she loved gardening, cribbage, music and shopping but most of all she loved being with her family.

We would like to thank Sunset extended care, the emergency staff at the Regina General Hospital and a special thanks to the staff on unit 5A as well as the palliative care family at the Pasqua hospital. It really does take a village.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Parkinson’s Canada. (parkinsons.ca), or the Palliative Care unit at the Pasqua hospital in her name.

A Celebration of life will be held at later date. (Summer 2025).
